Socially Responsible Human Resource Management and Voluntary Environmental Behavior: Moderating the Effect of Ecocentric Leadership

Purpose: The study examines the influence of socially responsible human resource management (SRHRM) on employees’ voluntary environmental behavior (VEB), and it tests moderating effect ecocentric leadership (EL). Design/Method: We adopted deductive reasoning in a positivist paradigm by applying quantitative analytical techniques structural equation modeling. selected 187 respondents from clothing industry through self-administered questionnaire survey Chattogram, commercial capital Bangladesh. Findings: outcomes revealed that both SRHRM EL VEB. However, moderation analysis indicated negatively intervenes Implications: One essential contributions our is its development knowledge related to valuing, developing, measuring SRHRM’s contribution improving VEB moderated model with help ensure long-term sustainability. Originality: Very little known about importance fostering behavior, so this will be one first examine topic. Moreover, posits interaction not substantial stimulating if organizations can institutionalize SRHRM.
